Impact on Franklin County

The HRA has secured more than $250 million in housing and community development resources over the past 30 years. HRA continues to work with many capable private, public, and non-profit partners to develop programs that will contribute to the economic vitality of the the region.

Together with our partners, HRA is always working to improve the quality of life in the Franklin County and North Quabbin region in rural Northwest Massachusetts.

The HRA's diverse projects and activities include affordable housing, housing counseling, municipal infrastructure, handicapped accessibility, commercial and economic development, and the provision of essential social services.

The HRA's staff are always at work to find creative ways to effectively address the many pressing needs of our rural region's residents and communities. The HRA develops strategies and accesses resources to address these identified needs. The resources HRA accesses provide wide-spread economic benefit to the region.
