Housing Rehabilitation Specialist

Franklin County Regional Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) has an immediate opening for a Housing Rehabilitation Specialist to perform inspections and provide project oversight for on-going and future housing rehabilitation projects administered by HRA.

Qualifications and Experience

Technical or professional experience in general contracting or construction, including project design, oversight, and supervision of residential housing rehabilitation. Working knowledge of regulations and requirements of the MA State Building and Sanitary Codes, MA Architectural Access Board, Americans with Disability Act, Title V Environmental Code, and MA Lead Law.

Principal duties include:

Performing inspections to determine eligibility for HRA’s housing rehabilitation program; providing technical support; cost estimating; identification of federal, state, and local building and sanitary code violations; and project oversight and supervision.
