Executive Director

Unique, diversified, successful and continually evolving 35-year old countywide housing and redevelopment authority for a rural region of 26 small western Massachusetts towns seeks executive director to lead a skilled veteran 35-member staff, starting August 2008.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will be visionary, creative and team-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive and collaborative relationships within and outside the organization.  S/he will further the Authority’s mission to improve the quality of life for the residents of our region through housing consumer education, affordable housing development (rental & homeownership), asset management, and rental assistance; and to meet the community development needs of the region’s small towns in the areas of housing rehabilitation, public infrastructure and public facilities.
